I also had reached the point where I saw no point in posting further on this thread, but I'm making an exception in this case.
Regarding GB's post, I can little fault with it. I just thought I'd point that out.
In particular, I like his observation that a skeptic's emotional reaction to "religion" is related to the tolerance of his environment. Perhaps I've just been very lucky in this regard, although I have been under the impression that the culture variation between different parts of the U.S. are exaggerated.
