Yes, but the poor get richer to, so who cares? If the billionaires get 20% richer, and I get a 10% raise, I'm still better off than last year. Under socialism the rich get poorer, the middle class gets poorer, the poor get a little better off, and then everything stagnates until we get fed up and change the system. A few years of capitalism will do the poor more good than a century of socialist welfare spending.
