Cedar essence seems to make rats sleep more and rush around less. During their sleep, they had more deep sleep than normal (?). The essence makes humans taking naps go to deep sleep faster.

Consequences? I would say the essence might be good for taking power naps in slightly stressful environments, a kind of mild sedative.
