More optimistic news from MSNBC:

"Nov. 5 — In a feat that blurs further the line between medicine and science fiction, two independent teams of researchers have
grown human stem cells — cells that give rise to all other cells in our bodies — in a petri dish. The technique opens the door to sprouting new heart muscle, new bone,
even new brain cells — a virtually unlimited amount of human tissue to replace diseased parts of the body."
