I wonder if there is any research data on all
U.S. lands acquired by consent from the natives.

IAN: But that's the real misnomer, for
it originated from the errant assumption
by the first Europeans to reach the Americas
that these darker skinned people were Indians
from the country India. I think the best definition
is "Pre-American," for "Native American" implies that
the land was named "America" prior to Euro-invasion.
