Estacado66 puts it all in focus:

Well, this wording comes from Neil Smith, and I happen to disagree
strongly with including the word "advocate"; but otherwise it's the
defining core of the libertarian movement.

As for why we should care: Maybe I think the world would be
a better place if somebody beats up Estacado66 and take his stuff.
I suppose you don't object?
