Seems to me you've identified an issue that should be clear and self-evident,
since the 9-11 atrocity.
What's the solution?
Technology that can accurately identify incorrect thinking would be nice.

analog computing, cultural relativism, GAC, Cyc, Eliza, cryonics, individual
uniqueness, ego, human values, scientific relinquishment, malevolent AI,
non-sensory experience, SETI

We move into a better future in proportion as science displaces superstition.
