Columbus, GA. A decent 2 bedroom apartment goes (or went)
for $300-$600 in the late 90s, there. One could pay more, of
course, but I didn't pay more than $350 for a place to live until
I moved to Florida.

A Daewoo. His was actually under 9K, before taxes, finance
