You must be careful making a statment like this is, and be precise,
otherwise you will open a whole new can of worms. There is nothing
in the Koran that 'disempowers women'. (in fact there's quite a lot
that 'empowers women', such as the emphasis on education)
It is only how *some mullahs interpret the Koran*, where the
'disempowerment of women' comes into the picture.
