I've created an Extropy.org team for the Folding@home 2.0 distributed
computing project. The team page is:

  http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage?q=346

More information about the project, which simulates protein folding,
is available from:

  http://folding.stanford.edu

Clients are available for Linux and Windows.

To join the team, enter the team number, 346, when prompted.

As explained in:

  http://folding.stanford.edu/science.html

understanding protein folding is critical to dealing with diseases
like Alzheimer's, CJD, mad cow, and probably some cancers. It also has
applications in nanotechnology.
