I agree. I lurk on one middle east site and listen to what the guys
have to say. It is obvious that the majority don't have a clue as to our
motives or even an accurate picture of what actions we have taken.
It reminds me of when I was a small boy in the south. There was one
large church that ran contrary to the affiliation of most of the population.
You wouldn't believe some of the stories I used to hear -- of course the
stories were told by people that had never been near that church.
It is the same listening to the middle easterners discuss the
Americans. The poor guys haven't a clue. We have to make an effort to get
our story out or some poor boys that don't any better are going to get
themselves killed unnecessarily.
BTW, if you will take a look at the book The Lucifer Principle you
will find the author sheds a lot of light on this situation.
