On the immigration debate, I know there were discussions recently about
setting up a free labour movement system for individuals in the U.S.,
Ireland, UK, a handfull of European countries, and a few other of the
Americas nations (Canada might have been in there too). In the wake of the
911 tragedy I've not heard anything since.

Would be handy, as my wife has been quite homesick for the last few years....
