Bin Laden has stated his goal is to impose Sharia everywhere Muslims live,
which includes
the United States. That would require destroying the US government per se,
as well
as the destruction of many cultural practices Americans hold dear and which
are very
important to transhuman goals, such as freedom of speech, freedom of movement
for
women, and any kind of banking system. So, yes, they're out to destroy the
US in
both the political and cultural sense. Not their *whole* purpose, of course;
they also
want Western Europe, Russia, China, etc.
Yeah, there are probably some who will settle for locking up every woman in
the
majority Muslim countries. Such people aren't running the show, though, and
that's
quite bad enough anyway.
