Consider taking ginger. I have friends who used to get sick
everytime we went sailing, and ginger fixed the problem for them.
One of them who gets car sick easily says it hasn't happened once
since she made it a regular part of her diet. Ginger has many
beneficial effects.

Try to take it at least an hour before the event.
