I heard about it, and I heard that witnesses said it was flying 'nape of
the earth'. I'm beginning to think that this craft is not so hot for
such work, and the props are so wide that pilots are not used to dealing
with such a large rotor plane. If the pilots were copter pilots
originally, I imagine they are just flying too close to the trees and
are kacking themselves up.
