Well, frankly, my strategy was to race through the requirements for
Biomedical Engineering and not enjoy it very much, all the while
noticing that all of my electives were in philosophy, which I enjoyed
a lot more.
With all the BME reqs satisfied, and all my electives turning out to
be philosophy, double-majoring was a very natural choice.
This may or may not be possible for most people; I recognize that I'm
in a unique situation.
