Speak for yourself. I would personally prefer a swarm of copies.
They should all have the "Max M Rasmussen" core that was uploaded.
Then when they meet, they should exchange experiences, share their "Delta
knowledge" so to speak, through a secure interface so that the sum of me
would get more experience and knowledge.
Knowledge would then propogate throughout the "Max Rasmussen" system of
loosely coupled nodes.
And the copy of me that has been stored on a floppydisc for a billion years
would only have to meet the copy that's been around the universe a few times
to get "upgraded".
I hope the system won't be made by Microsoft. Then "DLL Hell" will take a
whole new meaning.
