Questions I'd love to see added to the list:
- Are all extropians libertarian?
(I saw the section on government, but this question should be in there
explicitly, and darn it, the word "libertarian" should be *mentioned*
in that paragraph about beliefs extropians might have.)
- When should "extropy", "Extropianism", etc. be capitalized?
- Is Extropianism a cult?
(I'm not sure if we should add this to our FAQ, but it has come up
often enough that it's worth adding, IMO.)
- Do extropians support eugenics?
- What do extropians think about "genetically modified" crops, foods,
etc?
- What do extropians think about mysticism?
I'd also like to see the FAQ become a resource to which we can refer
people when certain perennial debates crop up, and I'd be happy to
write a critically balanced answer or two if that would help.
- Should there be laws restricting gun ownership/use/sales?
- If someone makes a copy of me or my mental processes, would that
person be me?
- Do I have internal sensations?
- Is having a belief the same as having faith?
- Would we be better off living in a "transparent society," with no
privacy, as David Brin suggests?
- Should we be libertarians/anarcho-capitalists/volunterists?
