Well, one place to inject new "genetic" information is at the point
where RNA is transcribed (heretofore, from DNA). Ribosomes read the RNA
to produce proteins.

To what end does your genetics shape you now? I would suppose, in the
most general way, one could overcome some limitation in one's genetics,
whatever one might consider such a limitation to be, in this way.
