Like an antidote (niacin works well to counteract LSD).
Or a drug could possibly be designed to antidote itself
if the users adrenalin or pulse got too high, as often the
cause of a "bad trip" is excessive anxiety. Much of the
experience during the trip is directly affected by the
users mindset and environment.

If you're truly smart, you'll only do these drugs in the right
circumstances or not at all.
