Yes, I recall being very worried about that too.

Paypal business/nonprofit account; accept credit cards for a 2% fee. (VISA
gets this, not Paypal; Paypal is trying to be inertialess, but they have their
limits.) Note that Paypal is run by people who should probably be considered
major Friends of the Future.
