The Fox Network in the United States is advertising its new show Freaky
Links, utilizing a website. Some of the show's "creators" were the same folks
who produced The Blair Witch Project. The show seems to be an X-files kind of
show, with a supernatural or weird occurence going along with a different
"weird" website (and its owners). Hence the term Freaky Links. The
protagonist inherits a website from his dead brother, and then starts to see
his dead brother (streaming video?) on the net.
The show (assuming that it's entertaining) seems to be kind of a John Shirley
or Bruce Sterling kind of short story. It also has a cool Fake website. The
website is real, yet its utterly part of the show, in that it stays in
"role".
