Remind me never to ask you to navigate the possible futures for me. The structure of the Universe is not determined by what we want to believe.

Why would there be safeguards - *any* safeguards - unless someone put them there? I'm not sure even a protective God could pull it off; the kind of ontology you're talking about strikes me as the sort of thing that would be a theorem of the logic of the Universe long before God could be proven into existence...
