News is spreading that Arnold Schwartznegger has signed to play Doc Savage in an upcoming movie (don't know the company, tho).
I've always thought of Doc Savage, conceived and immortalized in a pulp fiction series of books, as the original Extropian. The first attempt at a movie based on the series resulted in a poorly written and acted bomb, but maybe with Mr. S. on board the production values will be higher.
