I am enjoying the comments on this thread.
Two items:
#1. Definition of transhumanism: The materials that I am about to send to
the OED, based on the FAQ we all worked on, indicate that we consider
transhumanism to be an area of thought as well as an area of endeavor.
That seemed to satisfy those who did not consider it a full philosophy.
