The article at

http://www.intellectualcapital.com/issues/issue282/item6107.asp

covers the possibility of machine intelligences (and, at a very basic level, some extropian ideas like the potential for uploading ourselves into hardware) for an audience for whom these will be wholly novel memes. Old hat to this group, but perhaps worth a look if only because of the audience to which it is pitched. (www.intellectualcapital.com is sort of the McNeil Lehr show of the web.)
