Sorry, I thought that someone had already announced the Nightline program! Nightline with Ted Koppel and I think part of the 20/20 staff combined their efforts to produce a one-hour show that aired last night on ABC called 'Brave New World'. It featured a series of vignettes, interviews, dramatizations and commentary on the development of AI. It even went so far as to posit two paths for human's future evolution--implantation of machines within humans and the development of autonomous intelligent machines. And, as I mentioned before, all in prime time, on network television. Ted Koppel puts stamp of credibility on any topic that he deigns to cover!
