Anyone who was an young active adult in the late 60's and 70's can tell you of many ways they had great sex without even knowing the partners name much less being friends. The norm than was more to say "your place or mine?", "what do you do?" before asking their name. You might remember their name or even become friends later. Ah, for the good old days.
