Science Fiction suggestions?

I am one of a select few extropians who has not read very many science fiction novels. I would like to change that. I am open to any suggestions; however, I think it's pretty obvious I'm looking to get into quality sci-fi with distinctively Extropian leanings.

I've read around 10 sci-fi novels in my entire life. To give you an idea of what I like, my three favourites were:

  1. "Dispossessed" by Ursula Leguin(sp?)
  2. "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley
  3. "Gateway" by Frederick Pohl

.... in that order.

thanx in advance,

Geoff.
