In light of the recent acknowledgement by the Vatican of the validity of
Evolution, their website might have some theologically relevant info on
why and how they came to this conclusion. (of course, circular logic can
rationalize anything. I can imagine as silly an argument as "since x
many angels can dance on the head of a pin, such creatures obviously are
capable of genetic manipulation, yada yada yada....")
