Well, if they can't seem to keep their environmental systems operating
for more than a few weeks at a time, they must be socialist. If their
automated systems are too stupid to be able to dock without rupturing a
space station, they must be socialist (this past months Mir saga is not
the first. When we did the Apollo/Soyuz mission in the 70's, the US
carried up the docking ring and did all of the docking maneuvering, even
though we were more heavily loaded.)
