Hmmm, I'm not too sure about this but the use of file footage in the
media is something that I have always frowned on.

One point i'd like to add is that I spent nearly 4 days in front of
the TV flipping between BBC news, CNN and SKY news and did notice that CNN
seemed to be about 5 or 10 minutes behind the other networks in reporting
events. This obviously wasn't the case on the first day 11/9 but was
certainly the case on following days.
In particular things such as the arrests at the Hotel and in Florida
were covered much quicker by the other networks, where as President Bush'
speeches etc were all covered as they happened.

A strange point ?. It has left me wondering whether there has been a
bit of censorship going on behind the scenes at CNN, or maybe they just
wern't as quick off the mark. I find that a bit harder to believe.

       Any Ideas ??

       Alex.
