I have been in correspondence with some from the "libertarian" Marilyn
Manson camp recently
about what it is to be "posthuman" ...... and in some ways I do think the
future
is about increased personal freedom .... but Crowley/ Manson type
libertarians
do seem to act in absurd and self-seeking ways, so personal freedom cannot
be the whole story. Manson's "posthuman" recording label unfortunately puts
out
retread shock-rock music that isn't particularly positive or original.

As posthuman surely we must remain aloof & above the human-era political
mire ... left
wing & right wing are limiting and vacuous concepts .... regressive &
progressive might
be better labels. Shouldn't we do what we can to kill the sterile old-era
debates on
politics. Might as well consign religion, supernaturalism and racism to the
same waste bin whilst
we're about it?
