Emlyn, note that I do not actually endorse the Bell Curve. Their introduction
however, is a good definition of approach to how to interpret SAT scores.
In the long run, the impact of Murray and Herrnstein was to kill off the
SAT, especially in low-scoring states such as Taxifornia.
I dont agree with Steven Jay Gould either, but I devour his works as
soon as they hit the shelf. John Steinbeck was red to the bone, but
I have read and enjoyed everything he ever published. {8-] spike
