I recall in Lee Iacocca's autobiography that he recounted a conversation
with a UAW union cheif about the union supporting new holidays. The
union strategy was apparently to eventually get so many holidays on the
calendar that everyone will have a 4 day work week with 5 days of pay:
long a goal of unions and international socialists everywhere....
