My reason for bringing up NLP and Extropianism in this forum has to do
with Extropianism philosophies of self-improvement on a personal level.
NLP is simply one of the more powerful tools that I've found to achieve
those results. The connections between NLP and Extropian heros like
Robert
Anton Wilson, and Timothy Leary were just an added connection. For
example, Tony Robbins, the self-help informercial guru bases his approach
almost entirely on NLP and simply uses NLP to manipulate his audiences
into improving their lives, and buying his products.
I remember reading in Extropy a while ago a review of a self-improvement
book or two, and thinking, wow, if that community got a hold of NLP, just
imagine what they could do.
