 I really enjoyed your post. I would like to see that episode again since my involvement with transhumanist ideas. I think even "future-positive" people like those on this list have trepidation about the transhumans of the future carrying out an "age of Kahn" scenario for real.

You left out a great quote though... Khan said to Kirk(I'm paraphrasing here), "improving external technology is important, but improve a man's body & mind and the return in ten-fold!" Now, if only the individuals of the future with such endowments can use them wisely...
