A good book to start with is "From Frogs to Princes" by Richard Bandler and
John Grinder. I believe It can be purchased online from
"http://www.purenlp.com/" and also from "http://www.amazon.com/".
You could also try (all these links are off the top of my head, it's a while
since I studied NLP):

www.hypnosis.com
and alt.psychology.nlp (could be alt.psych.nlp, as I said it's been a few
years since I looked).
I believe that the NLP metaphor provides a useful perspective for everyone,
and is well worth studying (even if only an aid to selling extropy). I also
believe that it is only a metaphore and should not be taken as anything more
than that!
