Business 2.0 has an interview with John Gage, chief of research at Sun
Microsystems. He talks about transparency--a recent topic here, noting the
large number of cameras installed in England and the future effects of
transparency on transaction costs. (Want to know who dented your car
without leaving a note--the camera will tell you..) He also (on p.6 & 7)
comments on the Grameen Foundation microloan approach, which some of us
have discussed. It seems to be working.
