As I was backing away from fundianity, I discovered, simultaneously, the
self-indulgent, inane pleasures of Las Vegas and Steven King novels. I
often visit Vegas, rent a 4x4, buy a couple of books on audio tape, and go
exploring. In Death Valley, I was listening to "lnsomnia". Around the
Grand Canyon, I was listening to "Thinner" and " Wizard & Glass". On a day
trip to L.A. I enjoyed, ironically, "The Wasteland".
I read in today's National Post (Cdn) that King and Straub are collaborating
on a Talisman II.
