Yes this is true, and they can also be fed encrypted information from
AWACS/WildWeasel systems as part of the new USAF 'itegrated battlefield'. I
think the main point of this demonstration is that ABM defenses are not just for
use against Ballistic Missiles, but any airborn platform, be it ballistic
missiles, cruise missiles, jets, piper cubs, or balloons...
