I believe it is called a "salvage fuse". Give the warhead the ability to
detect that it is about to be intercepted (short range radar an/or IR
detector) and have it detonate just before. The flash, radiation, and
plasma blind or destroy interceptors heading for other incoming warheads.
RVs aren't affected as much since they rely on inertial guidance. The
would need to be pretty rad hardened. Fire the warheads in a fairly close
