Of course the word "DNA" was included only for the benefit of those who can't parse "nanotechnology" yet. Going solvated-biopolymer-tech for space applications with their hard vacuum and wide temperature regime strikes one as pretty unimaginative. Good to hear such ideas from a governmental agency, though.
