This question gives me a feeling of deja-vu...
mind: a continuously reactive processor of highly local stimuli on exosomatic (mainly) receptors which seeks to modulate stimuli prospectively in order to optimize the stimuli's congruence with stored and ongoing models of desired self and universe to achieve/restore equilibrium state. Where this fails, external stimuli induces modification of interior mind models, or failing this, pathological feedback loops eventually resulting in "moebius trips".
