If you get the chance, read Harry Harrison's 'Make Room! Make Room!' - the
novel the movie was made from.

Incidentally, 'soylent green' was NOT people.. it was 'soy / lentil'
combination, green color. Thje rest was Hollywood. I think the book was much
better than the movie.
