You made the rather startling statement that in 100 years,
and certainly within 1000 years, biological humans as we
currently know them will have ceased to exist.
Although I don't question that this result is
theoretically possible, don't you worry about a very
profound reactionary response in the general "God-fearing"
public to this type of "threat" to us creatures made "in
God's image"? Do you really think that public attitudes
will change that quickly?
