My employer, as part of its Y2K fix process, is evaluating each
system for "what are the consequences if it fails?". In response to
this determination, we have already shut down two systems: they were
of so little use that it wasn't worth continuing to run them until
Y2K, let alone to test them for Y2K problems or fix them.
