Help with MS Outlook

Anyone here know why when I use my Microsoft Outlook, some people get
the following in there mailbox and some do not:

In Outlook, it looks like this:

Hello there, how are you?
I hope you are well.
I have some new software to show you.
Thom

But in some email readers, it look like this after I send it out:

Hello there, how are you? =
I hope you are well =
I have some new software to show you. =
Thom =

Why do all these equal signs appear?
