I think the question is : is economic liberation beneficial to the *global*
situation. History bears witness to the fact that economic liberation is
definately beneficial to national economies, but I'm not so sure the same
could be said of the whole world situation. I would like to see an analysis
these two scenarios in your forthcoming essay.
I think your are correct that there is sometimes a hint of knee-jerk
dogmatic responses on this list.
