Agreed. There is nothing inherently Republican about gun rights, but most
Liberals aren't interested in protecting these rights. Likewise, there is
nothing inherently Liberal about equal rights for women, gays and minorities
(i.e., everyone), but most Conservatives aren't interested in protecting
these rights. The groupings into Right and Left issues really isn't helpful
in detecting pro-freedom or anti-freedom agendas.
